I enjoyed this movie overall. What I didnt understand in the Tom Cruise version I picked up in the first version.
However I think Tom Cruise's Superstardom and Acting really overpowers the actors abilities in Open your Eyes. The same goes for Cameron Diaz. These Hollywood actors are really superstars compared to the original actors in the Spanish version. Conversely Penelope Cruze feels much more relaxed and natural talking without an accent and is very beautiful.
The writing is a masterpiece and will work with any actors whatever their status. |
