A good underdog story "in the courtroom."

Another movie about major business damaging the environment, while the citizens pay for it through sickness and death. John Travolta plays a lawyer in a small firm of three lawyers who take on two major companies seeking monetary damages and ownership of the problem. Robert Duvall is on the defense. Robert plays a old time work ethic simpleton. Very sly, but realistic. I didn't care for the ending. Yet, it is based on a true story, so the ending could not be changed. Darn good movie. |
