The plot is heavily based on the movie Pulp Fiction, so it loses some originality points there for not twisting the plot enough. But there are some nice twists here and there as they mix several movie parodies together.
The cast selection is great. The characters that are supposed to look like famous actors actually DO look very much like the real actor in several cases. Jodi Foster for example, the parody of her is very good.
The writers of the script have some very intelligent humor. It's not the slapstick comedy you might think it is. They make allusions to cultural icons and events, which is the true sign of a good writer. It takes some smarts to get some of the references, and that's the best kind of humor. Not all will appreciate it unfortunately though, but for those who do it's quite an amusing movie.
And of course, Julie Brown is hot :). |
