After watching the first half of the movie I wanted to finish it soley to see why he was doing what he was doing... unfortunately it never answered that question and I think its because the director didn't know himself. His "tortured" childhood was barely enough to make me roll my eyes. Oh gee your mom was mean to you, Eminem already covered that and his story was quite a bit worse. Kids made fun of you in school... he fell down and it somehow mangled his face worse than getting caught in a wood chipper.. or is it supposed to be a figurative thing??? I'm really not sure why this film didn't get staight d's and f's, so much unrealistic bizarre trash that makes very little sense. I wish ebert would have reviewed it, even though I disklike him he would have bbq'd all the silly things this film did. The only thing this film did was drum up a little interest and wonder but then left me with an empty wrapper. |
