I give this a B because there is more to the show. I feel slightly let down in that not all of the voices we hear are the actors themselves. Also the songes were abriged and some were even let out. That is all I don't like about it, now for the good stuff!
All star cast. I can't ask for a better set of dancers, actors, or singers! Also, this video got the privilage of a 100 piece orchestra! WOW! One piece of advice for those who haven't seen Cats before: don't look for a plot. I have seen Cats live twice, and watched the video more times then I can count, and after all that I still can't find a plot. Why should there be one? No cat I ever met had a plot, and the show is based off of a bunch of almost unrelated poems! So my advice is get in, sit back, and let your mind enter the world that Webber has created and don't ask questions because there are no answers! |
