Good movie; Duvall should have won Oscar

I just saw this movie a few weeks ago. I expected to see some little movie about a simple small town preacher. What I saw... I truly wasn't expecting the movie to be this good. It told a story about a preacher, but it also ended up being entertaining too. Robert Duvall, in my opinion, should have won the Oscar for his role. He really played the part of a messed-up preacher and did a great job. The Apostle was an unexpectedly entertaining movie; shocking, but true; see it. |
