This is an interesting and sometimes moving tale of personal redemption. Robert Duvall turns in an oscar worthy performance and is joined by several excellent cast members (Farrah Fawcett, Billy Bob Thorton). If you enjoy regionalistic movies - especailly ones about the culturally rich South, you will enjoy this one. It is in the same vein as 'Slingblade'. |
