dual themed movie

This movie addresses two topics: gay and abortion. I thought it did a good job of both. It presents the dilemna for straight conservative folks: Do you kill an unborn child if you knew it was going to grow-up to be gay? The acting was very good. The storyline was unique. The cinematography was very good as well. This isn't a thriller; it's a drama. It kept my interest. I rented it, and now I'm looking to buy it (when the price is right). The theme of this movie can be carried to other situations as well: Under what circumstances would you consider murdering an unborn human being? Sex, sexual orientation, religion, color, physical "defects", mental "defects", inconvenience...? I'm sure you could expand on this list. It's not a choice; it's a child; and we don't have the right to play God, deciding who lives and who dies... Enjoy the movie! |
