I'm not generally a fan of sci-fi movies (especially not the "epic saga," "Star Wars" types) but I like this gritty, scary story. The film takes place in the far reaches of space, where a recovery vessel is searching for a lost ship. Once they discover it, they find it ominously void of its crew. As the film progresses, the astronauts come closer to learning just where the lost ship has been, and they soon find themselves confronting horrors beyond their expectations. . . This is a great horror/sci-fi movie for anybody fascinated by the darkest corners of space and what lies beyond them! Sam Neill is great, and any "Matrix" fans will appreciate Laurence Fishburne. |
