Any idiot who watches this movie and comes out of it saying "That's it? It was her dad!" much like some idiot on the next page did, obviously did not understand this movie. It's not her dad. Those are the aliens. They didn't want to overwhelm her or reveal themselves so while she was unconcious in the ship they downloaded her thoughts and memories, picked a place and person that would be more comfortable to her. I only wish we were allowed to comment because i'd have torn that dumbass apart. This is a brilliant movie. I've never read the book, and I know how frustrating it is when a story you know and love is adapted falsely. Nonetheless, this was an amazing movie. Anybody who thinks the book or the movie was stupid or silly in any way should be shot. |
