Contact explores the intersection between theology and science. How are the two to be reconciled? Can they be reconciled? Though the magic of superb acting by Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey, the answer to "what is the Intersection" is suggested by such comments as "Do you love your Father - if so Prove it." The movie rightfully only suggests an answer - never answering the question in the absolute - as it acknowledges the depth and complexity of the matter. Encore! |
