This movie is a comedy, simply stated. The actors and actresses that was chosen could have had more direction. It sounded rehearsed in certain scenes and it is a fairly decent black film. Now for the controversal ending...Did he get caught or didn't he? Remember all day he has been proving that he was the Playa of all Playas. Even with his steady female "Lisa", he proved that he was a playa, when he switched the answering machine tape in the beginning of the movie. He surely could easily prove the last scene, with his sister. Remember she,his sister, all day long was trying to get him "busted." Her sidekick helped her and wanted to see the playa in progress...if you know what I mean and didn't want to end up a "statistic". When she ("Lisa")was walking in building, getting in the elevator, in the apartment, checking out the scene, going up stairs, this man was getting his "groove" on. Need I say more. |
