If you are a runner, this will motivate you and make you want to get up off of your butt and run. Yes, this movie gains the runner's attention, because we do know what it's like to perform, train, sweat, and die for the sport. We don't get paid like professional basket-ball/baseball/football players. We run to be the best and come out #1 and hopefully taking that meet record with us. We love running. If during sometime in your life, you experienced running and its competition, you will find this movie to be worth watching and even owning. I do not recommend this movie for anyone who has no relation to running or sports, you have to actually know what its like to be in this position whether it "is" or "was" you , or its someone who you know that somehow relates you to the scene. This movie shows the people what kind of heart Steve Prefontaine had, and after watching it , if you have'nt already, will also notice how many runners share the same fire that he did. |
