Without a doubt, Grosse Pointe Blank is a daark comedy. So many jokes are thrown in that you want to laugh at but you don't know if you should. John and Joan Cusack are able to play off eachother like they were brother and sister. Mimi Driver's Debbie is convincingly the once left behind lover that wants to pick back up where they left off. The Jock at the reunion is half my graduating class.
If you want a great comedy that touches buttons previously left alone, Grosse Pointe Blank is a great choice.
(They are working on a second Blank?) |
