If you like Liv Tyler, Joaquin Phoenix, Jennifer Connelly, or Billy Crudup, you will love this movie. The story is well put together, especially considering they had a little less than 2 hours of a movie to put it together, and the whole story follows a teenage boy's journey to manhood and it was over the course of around 6 years. I just love those movies about puppy love evolving into mature love, and I think we have a little bit of each Abbott sister(Pam, the one who gets away with stuff, Eleanor, the rebel, and Alice, the goody-goody.) in us. The story has a good moral to it if you look past the language and sexuality.It's a great coming-of-age tale that will stay in your head long after you see it. |
