A remake that's possibly better than the original!

Don't get me wrong, I love Bruce Lee movies. However, for the remake of his martial arts film The Chinese Connection, well, it only improves. Jet Li's version adds a much more captivating storyline with more in regards to relationships between Chinese and Japanese (like ex. in the Chinese Connection, if they're Japanese, they're considered evil). Not only that, but Bruce Lee's character is more likable and sympathetic portrayed by Jet Li. I really like Fist of Fury but I would definitely watch The Chinese Connection first to make a good comparison. |
