Worth watching a couple times, but gets trying after that. Chris Cooper shows why he is very underrated as an actor. He appeared bored with the story. Kris Kristofferson saved this film. The viewer sees a side of him that has rarely been revealed on the screne....ruthless. I enjoyed seeing Clifton James, who plays the mayor. The storyline, or lines, go a bit too complicated. Way too many things go on at once. I believe they attempted to cram in way too much in two hours. However, the movie is good if you want a feel of modern rural Texas. |
