"Phenomenon" is an excellent movie with interesting characters, a believable story line, and a positive message. However, some of the most important parts have been deleted from the DVD. I do not know why.
One such example is toward the end, when George (Travolta) is asked about the meaning of life. George demonstrates this by using an everyday pink eraser. This illustration is extremely powerful and significant to the overall movie; unfortunately, the entire scene has been deleted from the DVD.
Although "Phenomenon" is a picture I would love to own, I am returning the DVD because it is basically incomplete. |
