What is it that people don't like about this movie? Carrey's character was too dark? I don't know. I personally thought it was hilarious. The greatest dark comedy of our time. At the time I had not seen much with Stiller, and almost nothing with Black, Wilson, Garofalo, and Dick, but now it reads as an ensemble cast. Anybody who has watched a good amount of TV can find these jokes downright hilarious. Carrey was remarkable, even Broderick was good. Owen Wilson has his sweet little cameo, and Jack Black fit his role fine. Ugh, what an underrated movie. |
