Just because Shaq is in this movie does not mean it's good. This movie is not just stupid, it's disturbing. I can look past the sexual overtones shown by Kazaam (Only because they're not always intended) but this movie is just stupid. It's obvious that whoever wrote it has no idea what rapping is. The rapping in this movie makes today's rap seem good, and that's saying a LOT. There is a big difference between RAPPING and RHYMING! Most of the time, Kazaam doesn't even rap. He just rhymes words without singing them. The story is just a typical story we've seen many times, but the way it was handled was just awful. And Kazaam had to be the worst character in this movie. Also, people need to realize that rapping isn't that cool. (Please tell this to the CEO of the NCC) Actually, that is kind of unfair as this movie was made during the time when rap was actually good and didn't have all the uses of the F-word and bad messages for people. |
