Lynn made Martin look like a good actor

Great dramatic turn in the plot. It went from Martin clowning around to "Aww, S#$%, this is serious.
Yes, it may be a cheaper version of other epics. You know the budget was not comparable to the others metioned by "other people" in their comments crapping on this movie. With that being said, a usual Martin Lawrence movie, some overacting (if Jim Carrey does it, it's great, if Martin does it, it's foolin') and some great acting as well.
Lynn Whitfield helped him to rise to the occcasion(seriously, no pun intended. Talking about the acting here). Roger Mosely (Magnum P. I.), was good to see again. Definetely put in good work as well. Bobby Brown actually followed along nicely.(Sniff,Sniff) Regina King, Della Reese all did great in the movie. There were some noticeable actors and tresses in there as well that kept the movie flowing nicely(Too many to mention). Not too many lull spots in the storyline. Production flowed smoothly. Transition from scene to scene was good. The score was nice. In all, a movie you can watch, laugh, and learn from.
