A debacle for the ages.

When the highlight of a film is a nude scene that involves an actress that the viewer has seen nude countless times before, that speaks volumes about the poor quality of film-making featured in said film. Very rarely have I witnessed a film this poorly made that was not directed by Gus Van Zant (who at least has artistic credibility!). This film is a debacle and one of the reasons that Hollywood was so hesitant to make comic book films in the 90's. Think God for Brian Singer and Sam Rammi, without whom the "Barb Wire/Spawn/Punisher" curse may have never been broken. |
