A great delight from beginning to end with an outstanding cast. Lane's performance is perfect and a real scene-stealer, and Robin and Hackman are incredible as usual. The Birdcage is a comedy with substance and lite subtext that amuses the viewer with its hysterical characters and outrageous situations.
