When i think of great action films i think of broken arrow. This film is one of john woo's first american films and was made before he out did his welcome with fans by engaging his heroes in fierce gun battles that usual seems to have them doing cartwheels while shooting machine guns back at their enemies.
John travolta plays a very entertaining villian whose sarcasm fits into the film nicely. some of the visuals are extremely good compared to other action films. A scene which involves a stealth bomber is awesome...and i love action movies that feature a good guy/bad guy hand to hand combat at the finale to conclude the film, and broken arrow has a great showdown. if you are an action film fan, be sure to watch this! |
