Twelve Monkeys is a sci-fi movie for people who don't do sci-fi. The only real hint of science fiction comes from a man who may or may not be crazy that claims he traveled back through time. Then the sci-fi part is over and you can let the movie take the wheel and do the driving. You'll believe in the story, the characters, the entire enviroment. Brad Pitt's performance is particularly wild-eyed. |
