Female can fight too!

This is a comedy kung fu fighting movie, where the plot is light and no one get kill. Kind of like most Jackie Chan movies. The hero in this movie is Wing Chun, play gracefully and excellently by Michelle Yeoh (who starred in a James Bond movie if you didn't know). In this movie he has to fight with the country rebel (who life consist of stealing from everyone), who leader is interested in a beautiful girl (Catherine Hung). She is basically protecting him. Donnie Yen co-star in this movie, who has a child was in love with Wing Chun, but a mixed up has him to believe Catherine Hung is Michelle Yeoh.
Waise Lee, who play a scholar did a hilarious job, who at first wanted to marry Wing Chun, to protect his fortune from the rebel. The movie was somewhat funny, and the plot is light. There were some action sequence that are nice to watch, as mention by most people. Like the scene where she is fighting some guy, who if he can smash the tofu he would win. The movie might not be as good as the other Michelle Yeoh movie, Tai Chi Master, starring the more famous Jet Li. But what this movie provide is an entertainment from the start to the end. |
