A wonderful story of what English life was like in urban and rural 1800's.When a group of sisters and their widowed mother loose an inherited title,they are forced to re-locate to a humble cottage amid their gossipy country relations.In their new country parish home,the sisters receive a series of suitors and are made to endure endless teasing and gossip and heart break until true love comes acourting in the form of a country parson and a dashing soldier.
