The story line of this film was brilliant and i cannot fault the acting of Alan Rickman or Emma Thompson, however, I felt Kate Winslet was almost embarresing to watch and appeared too selfish and self centred, I also feel that Hugh Grant could have appeared slightly more comfortable in his part, he didn't appear very natural at times, almost stilted. Overall however, the plot cannot be faulted and it was cleverly crafted so the main issues were viewed even if they were not spoken of. I would definately recomend this film or the latest release of it if you are a fan of Jane Austen, it's remarkable.
