i guess i have a better appriciation for this move than others because i live in the town where the true story happened and i know the people who were involved. the secretary at my jr. high was the grand mother of the boy. although the movie is not the true story it was good. for anyone who is interested in the true story the book "forgiving the dead man walking" is the true account of the story from the girls point of view and "dead man walking" is the account of sister helen prejean. they are very good books but very graphic in details. |
