Greatest stoner movie ever made.....

This animated R rated flick has to be the best stoner movie ever made. I fondly remember having many a session with my buddies while this one played. The first episode of this episodic cartoon is by far the best and one of the greatest R rated film noir cartoons ever made. If I sound overzealous and maybe I am being a tad bit too kind, it's because this was made in 1980 before all that Pixar crap and this is a violent, film noirish cartoon with sex, foul language and carnage galore. This episode is the best and the others pale in comparison and are a tad bit lame. So it satrts with a bang and kinda peters out. Been a while since I've seen this (since I grew up and put the bong away) but I remember that first sketch and also recall that the others weren't so memorable. A mysterious deadly glowing sphere connects all these tales together and early 80's heavy metal populates the soundtrack. A good time, though nothing special if you're not under the influence. A fair movie, overall. Too bad the first episode wasn't made feature length, this would've been much better. Voices are provided by John Candy, Eugene Levy and others.
