I watched this movie like at least 8yrs ago. And I've watched tonnes of romantic movies before and since. Someone recently asked me what my favourite romantic movie was. My mind did a quick flashback, and this one came to mind. I've forgotten the details and scene sequences. But I can still remember the quiet, simple yet so affecting storyline. It was never melodramatic like most romantic movies. Just so real, so understated and so heart-wrenchingly sad. Oh yes... and I remember crying till my shoulders shoke and my eyes - raining cats n dogs... :-P Hmm ... think I'll go buy the DVD for keeps. |
