In a word, sweet. This movie touches on the most compelling human emotion, love. While Keanu Reeves is stiff in the movie, the supporting acting is stellar enough to carry his lack luster performance. Aitana Sanchez-Gijon is not only stunningly beautiful but talented and fluent on screen. Hats off to the late Anthony Quinn, playing the role of the grandfather and manages to steal every scene he appears in.
In short, what was supposed to be a boring chick flick turned out to be a great chick flick. Score some points with a loved one with this sweet, heart warming film! |
