Thrillers are supposed to be thrilling, aren't they? Unfortunately, the only suspense comes in the last ten minutes, which are actually quite good. Otherwise, this blase movie is quite boring, yet unintentionally hilarious at times. The premise is downright outlandish and you will be scratching your head during some of the scenes and laughing at others which aren't supposed to be funny. A computer programer, (Sandra Bullock, in a role that Julia Roberts obviously passed on) who doesn't seem to have a friend in the world, has her identity stolen, and must run for her life because a very sauve man is after her floppy disk with top secret information. See? It even sounds stupid as I am writing about it. What else can I say? If you have nothing better to do or watch, you might be able to sit through this movie. Otherwise, you know that pile of laundry in your closet? Do it, instead! |
