Steven Seagal returns as former navy seal Casey Ryback in another daredevil adventure. This time around, Ryback is reunited with his niece Sarah (Katherine Heigl) who he has not seen in years and wants to make up for the absense. They meet up at the train station and vie for a relaxing vacation. We are then introduced to Bobby Zachs (Morris Chestnut), who is a porter on the train and really seems interested in Sarah and her pepperspray. Everything seems to be going well until a group of military terrorists seize control of the train led by Travis Dane (Eric Bogosian) and Penn (Everett McGill). Dane says that he has a job to do when he brings along an ATAC system that he invented for the government. ATAC happens to be a government that Dane used to work for until he got fired for whatever reason that may be. Anyway, hostages have been held captive except Ryback and Bobby, and it is up to the hero and the porter to save the day. Throughout the entire film, Ryback manhandles all the terrorists left and right like they are nothing. The best part of the film is when Ryback and Penn go hand to hand which Ryback takes control of. Penn is trying to slaughter Ryback with a slicer while Ryback is blocking this with his bare hands. Ryback comes out on top breaking Penn's neck, coming out of the fight without a scratch while Penn is a bloody pulp. I also liked how Ryback escapes the train while it is blowing up and crashing. Pure action from beginning to end, and I definitely enjoyed it as much as the first. Don't just look at reviews, GO GET IT NOW PLAYA!
