Most movies either strike the nail on the head, or miss completely. This movie bent the nail. I enjoyed this movie; a cold hearted loner saves some females and gets turned around for the better. It's a Bruce Willis movie, but without Bruce.
Other people though did not like this movie so much. (The fact that the main character had gills seems to be a turn-off for many people) In my opinion though, it wasn't a hinderance to the movie in any way.
Dennis Hopper played an excellent villian, as he usually does, but on the whole the movie was over-acted. This movie falls into the category of being reccommended, but not to people that can't tolerate sci-fi. |
