Overall totally awesome. Nothing wrong with this movie, in my opinion. I still watch it now, ten years later. I still watch the old Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episodes as well. The actors are awesome, the theme of the episodes and movies are outstanding, and the whole Power Rangers style is inspirational.
.::Character Review::.
Tommy (Jason Frank): Over-outstanding actor and martial artist. My inspiration for getting into the martial arts to begin with, and someone who I often look up to in many situations. He may not be doing too much on the big or little screen anymore, but he's still the best you could hope for. Not bad in his looks, either. :3
Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch): For being a self-taught martial artist, this character appeals as if he was in training since birth. A human inspiration to myself and many others, Johnny is also a very gifted actor. In this movie, he didn't have the biggest role, but had a major comeback and a greater stance on the fav character list.
Rocky (Steve Cardenas): Brave, talented and awesome character as well. His bravery in reality is awesome, too. This character has a lot of power to his name, like Tommy, and prevails high on my fav characters list. He's out and open on the fight scenes and has a great focus on the martial arts style.
Billy (David Yost): This guy has definitely raised in his own ranks over the first 3 seasons before this movie. I admire how he's not afraid to do what he can in this movie and how he's open to so much more now. It's like he was never a beginner martial artist, like in the tv episodes.
Aisha (Karan Ashley): For being someone who didn't take a lot of training for this movie, she turned out great. I felt that she had a great connection to her part and that she was also someone who was out and open to so much in this movie.
Kimberly (Amy Jo Johnson): Personally, not a favorite to me in any way possible. She's like this tiny little thing that uses her goofs and fears in the first fight scene. The whole idea of her being like a little weakling didn't help a bunch for her character, either. It's like she cried out for Tommy's help every five freakin seconds. I still say he's too good for her. :3
.::OVERALL::.
One of my favorite movies, now and forever. Shall watch it next time I get the chance. |
