This masterful tale of vengence ranks as one of the best westerns of all time.
Sam Pekinpah almost died making this film, most all of which is filmed outdoors in a very realistic manner.
No nansy - pansy love interests to get in the way of a tale of slow motion violence and charactors of gritty realism.
You will winess the longest gatling gun sequence ever filmed, and Borgnine, Oates, and Holden shine in this dusty tale of real men and times that tested a man's courage and ethics.
Probably not a movie your wife or live in will enjoy, kick back, grab a beer and watch a truly remarkable film.
Then of course put in the best of all westerns, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. |
