It's amazing that a movie that focuses only on two people and their process of getting to know each other could be so incredibly engaging. I've always been a fan of dialogue. Just plain and simple dialogue, that allows us to understand characters better. Well that's all this movie is and it's done so incredibly. You really develop a sense of who these characters really are.
On that note Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy do an amazing job taking us through the process of getting to know somebody else. And director and writers of this wonderful script did an excellent job guiding the actors. If you've ever thought about talking to that perfect stranger next to you, this is movie to watch. |
