Heavenly Creatures is an odd yet interesting and memerable film that manages to make you pychologicaly uncomfortable with the character's obsession and imagination rather than with guts and gore.
Though unusual in its exicution (opting to tell the true story instead of main-streaming; an honorable choice) it succeeds for making you feel for the characters.
Final note: By the way, just so you have some warning there is some explicit sexuality in this movie (just so your aware when your considering the company you watch it in- I had some trouble with that) |
