This movie is, in a word: Charming. Its light and filled with heart. The Ed Wood smile alone should have been enough to get Depp that Oscar. Not to mention the fuzzy pink sweater.... This movie is about a man of hope, which makes us sad, because we see there is no reason for him to have any, thus we watch his downfall. I laughed, I cried, and I did that Bela Lugosi thing with my hand. Im telling you, its of Tim Burtons finest. My only complaint is it does draw out a tiny bit through the second and thrid act. / <3 / gwen |
