Well, maybe not hatred, but the whole thing is a waste of time. It's so bad, in fact, that it was one of the feature films on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Here's a brief outline: The story revolves around Jimmy (whose entire list of accolades include winning an dinky essay contest.....and selling shoes). Jimmy has other problems too: his mom + pop are a couple of drunks who only care about partying, and his sappy love interest also happens to be attached to a mob-backed gangster (Love triangle). Eventually Jimmy gets a job working for the gangster delivering packages after hours and that only gets him involved in more trouble, etc, etc, and his whole life hits the crapper (Like he wasn't there already).
I've only seen this on MST3K (The only way I'd WANT to see it) and they did a TERRIFIC job heckling this pile of crap. I had to watch it a couple times to get the jokes to really sink in but they're awesome. If you want to have a good laugh, try to pick up the MST3K version on Rhino DVD. You won't be sorry.
Otherwise don't bother to watch it. It sucks.
