One of the best action films ever made

One of the biggest things I respect about Jet Li is that he always stars in a movie that has a drawing story. Jackie Chan got too goofy, Bruce Lee's had great fight scenes but very little depth, and Tony Jaa's were only worth your time if you're a martial artist. Once Upon A Time In China has easily got to be not only one of Jet Li's best movies (Right next to Hero and Fearless) but also just one of the greatest action films, period. There's great fights, a fun and inviting story that keeps you interested, and of course some laughs along the way that make you keep wanting more. It's no surprise that Li starred in the next two sequels and I can't wait to see how they are. See it! |
