With Jet Li's performance in this classic movie, Wong Fei Hung will not only be remembered as a folk hero in (Southern) China, but also in the rest of the World! A landmark picture which revolutionized martial arts acting.
This is by far the best movie directed by one the most famous Hong Kong directors, Tsui Hark. It also proves that besides his martial arts know-how (essential of course in the Hong Kong Film Industry), Tsui Hark knows his history. It is far more better than hallow and empty Hollywood KungFu movies, like "Romeo must Die" or his own "Double Team"... |
