Arnold managed to stick one more really decent movie in after the debacle that was LAH. True lies is a pretty strong effort in all respects. The plot is pretty cool, the acting is good, the comic relief is there, and boy is there action. That scene with Jaime Lee Curtis doing the striptease was great and showed the transformation her character was about to undergo. Tom Arnold was very funny and Arnold gave a good performance as well. He was back killing more people and blowing more things up then ever. Makes us all wish we had a second life as a secret agent doesn't it? |
