The tables are reversed here a bit... with the young, beautiful mother being the alcoholic in the family. And the charming husband attempts to be her lifesaver.
It's heavy at times. Meg's acting bugs me at times - not sure if she's too overly dramatic for the topic or what...
But this is the movie I first discovered Andy Garcia in. He's such a stand-alone great character in this movie, that it's worth watching. |
