I don't see why everybody is coming down on this one so hard. Everybody automatically assumes that this one is so bad because Bogomil and Taggart were nowhere to be found. I really don't see what the problem is with Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) taking out bad guys at a theme park. How good do you people expect a sequel to be? I know that alot of you are going to disagree with me, but I found this one to be the best of the three. There is more action and gunfights on this one than the first two. In the original, the action didn't get started until Axel, Rosewood and Taggart arrived at Maitland's mansion. In the second, it was mostly Axel running around Beverly Hills trying to crack the case, and at the same time, making jokes throughout the film (Not a bad thing though). In the third, Axel took himself more serious than the last two movies, even though he didn't do his famous laugh, make jokes, etc. The important thing is that he was more focused and determined on this sequel, but everyone seems to be so uptight and overjudgmental about it. Obviously, those who put bad reviews liked this movie, since they had the patience to sit through a so-called pointless sequel. Watch it again, and watch harder to see how good of an outcome it really is. Holla back at the Alpha Male! |
