A lame, plotless, feel-good chick flick. I can't say much about this movie because the title is about all that happens. They go to one wedding. Everyone has a great time and Hugh Grant hits on Andie MacDowell. They go to another wedding. Everyone has a great time and Hugh Grant sleeps with Andie MacDowell. They go to a third wedding. Everyone has a great time and Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell are getting serious about each other (Maybe. By this time I wasn't paying much attention.) Then the old drunk guy dies and they all go to his funeral and Hugh and Andie cry. I guess this really pulls the heart strings of certain simple minded people who don't care what kind of movie they see as long as it has a wedding in it. If you love seeing weddings so much, go rent one hundred videos of some complete strangers' weddings. But please don't contribute money to lame filmmaking like this. It will only encourage them to make more. |
