This movie is indeed one of the best movies I ever saw. I thought about it many days after I saw it. The black and white effect is impressive and the most dramatic experience was provocked by the little girl wearing the red coat (the only colour in the film).
If you saw "The Passion of The Christ" you'll notice that after 2000 years people have the same cruelty (or even worse), but this movie proves that there is still hope on Earth, that there are people who will give all their money to save other people, and this is a real act of courage.
I was amazed to see Spielberg's name at the end of it, considering that is not one of my favourites screen directors. |
