A pretty realistic sports movie.

Movie's like this aren't really made that much but I thought it was a very accurate movie. It portrays a coach with a program in decline who has to cheat to get good players and return the program (Western Univeristy in the movie, basically resembles UCLA) to winning. It shows how cut throat college sports can become, especially recruiting, and really the pressure put on players and coaches to win. Both Shaq and Anfernee Hardaway star as major basketball players in this movie, and while their roles don't require a lot of acting, they do a good job with their characters. I really enjoyed watching this movie and I think it's an underrated movie. |
