Nobody can argue that this is another great basketball movie along with Coach Carter (2005), White Men Can't Jump (1992), Above the Rim (1994), etc. I just bought this at Target for $9.99, and that is not a bad price if you are a sports fan like myself. Pete Bell (Nick Nolte) is a college basketball coach who cheats his way to victory, when he pays his newfound players (Shaq and "Penny" Hardaway) money to boost his losing season. Is he willing to lose his pride and self-respect to win? Great sports movie along with Anfernee and Shaq as the kick-ass twins from different locations. |
